The National Emergency

The National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) are hosting the inaugural edition of The Crisis & Emergency Management Community Forum on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). This forum serves as a cohesive national platform dedicated to the Crisis & Emergency Management Community.

The forum aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Foster cooperation and communication among all components of the emergency, crisis, and disaster management community.
  • Proactively anticipate and forecast emerging and cross-border risks and threats from a comprehensive national perspective.
  • Identify the key pillars and milestones for the upcoming phase in the emergency, crisis, and disaster management community.
  • Enhance the national response and elevate the preparedness of state sectors to effectively manage emergencies, crises, and disasters.
  • Showcase the UAE’s reputation by highlighting national capabilities, specialized professionals, and the unique Emirati model in the field of emergency, crisis, and disaster management.

The overarching objective of the Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Management Community Forum is to establish a platform that unites all sectors within the emergency management community. The aim is to define and elucidate the groundwork for the upcoming phase, ensuring a heightened level of preparedness and resilience in confronting crises and disasters.

The forum strives to enhance the landscape of emergency, crisis, and disaster management, with a particular focus on the UAE and a broader global perspective. Its primary goal is to facilitate a more profound understanding among participants regarding experiences and expertise, especially in the realms of work coordination, crisis and disaster management.
