Planning and Preparedness Department
The Department of Planning and Preparedness is an active contributor to an integrated readiness and recovery system through the development of risk and threat plans in line with an effective strategic vision, provision and utilization of resources and capacities, organization of joint training sessions in collaboration with strategic partners, and evaluation them in order to assess the readiness of institutions to determine the readiness of an institution to successfully deal with potential dangers and threats.
This department plays a pivotal role to enhance job capacities and skills through the development of a specialized training strategy based on the analysis on the Authority’s job requirements of its staff, and local and the federal parties, according to a specialized training program for emergency, crisis and disaster management, accredited by international and local entities.
